Workshops
Our workshops emerge at the intersection of art, public space and human experience. Whether focused on working with testimonies, artistic intervention or opening complex social topics, our primary aim is to create a space where it is possible to speak, create and be heard.
They are always interactive, carefully facilitated and tailored to the specific group. They combine shared experience, work with authentic testimonies and the creation of creative interventions that open dialogue about how we live in cities and how we can influence them in thoughtful and sensitive ways.
Types of workshops
1. Public Space – Becoming Part of the City
A workshop exploring how we can respectfully enter public space and open dialogue within it. Participants reflect on their relationship to the places they live in and consider how even small interventions can transform the atmosphere and perception of a city.
Example questions we work with:
- When was the last time something broke your everyday routine?
- When was the last time you made someone’s day better?
- Is there a place in your surroundings that could be improved?
2. Working with Testimonies – We Are Closer Than We Think
A reflective workshop focused on anonymous human testimonies. Participants engage with selected testimonies from the PRAHO! project database and explore themes that connect people living in the city. The workshop fosters empathy, openness and respect for different perspectives.
Possible themes:
- loneliness in the city
- neighbourhood and local relationships
- climate crisis
- anonymity of urban life
3: Creative Intervention – What About You?
An experiential workshop in which participants create their own artistic responses to shared testimonies. It includes anonymous collection of responses, group work and a shared reflection on how the meaning of a testimony changes depending on context and artistic interpretation.
The outcome may be a small text-based or visual intervention.
Possible themes:
- loneliness in the city
- neighbourhood relationships
- climate crisis
- urban anonymity
4. Long-term Collaboration – Touch the City
A programme for schools, organisations or communities that wish to create their own participatory intervention in public space. Participants collaboratively design and realise a small action or installation based on collected testimonies.
Examples include:
- text-based interventions in public space
- temporary installations
- participatory actions in the city
Site-specific collaboration
For longer-term collaboration, it is possible to develop a site-specific participatory project directly within a particular space, such as a school, cultural institution or public urban environment.
Participants are involved in:
- collecting testimonies on a selected topic
- curating texts
- artistic processing
- realisation in public space
This format is always tailored to the specific place and group.

What people say about us?
Who is behind the workshops
PRAHO! project workshops are not created from manuals, but from personal experience, sensitivity to our surroundings, and attentiveness to people. Each of us brings our own way of seeing public space and sharing it with others.
